FOOTBALL.-- TEES WANDERERS V. MIDDLESBROUGH FOOTBALL CLUB.-- The return match
of the season between these two clubs took place on Saturday last, in the Park, and
resulted in a draw both sides scoring one goal. The game was played according to
the association rules and it is highly creditable to the wanderers who play Rugby
Union that they succeeded in holding their own against the Middlesbrough club, on
their own ground at their own game. The teams were :-- Tees Wanderers : E.C.H. Wilson,
goal; W.H. Wilson, F. Brewster, back; C.L. Bell, Capt., Dickins, J. Brewster, Logan,
Child, Richardson, Addyman, Napier, forwards. Middlesbrough Club : Harvey, goal;
Windross, Parkins, backs; Hardesty, Hildreth, Ewbank, Lees, Greenwood, Booth, Harrison
and Jenkins.
